Amplifi launch new webinar series

We know that many businesses want to be more sustainable and have the right intentions, but translating those intentions into action is a real challenge. We have designed a programme of rich interactive webinars to start to bridge that gap. These sessions will span a diverse range of topics that will inform, encourage and equip businesses to take up the challenge of achieving net zero and sustainability goals, including alignment with the 2030 Net Zero Ambition laid out by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

Topics covered will include:

• Digital sustainability

• Waste and the circular economy

• Sustainable investing

• Energy 

• Sustainable transport and how to take action on climate change.

Action Plan

Amplifi’s 2025 will kickstart on the 29th of January when we will be hosting a film screening of Tristan Lochon’s powerful new film “Responsible” – challenging the notion of ‘business as usual’, under the strapline ‘there is no business to be done on a broken planet’. The evening will double as a launch night for Amplifi’s education programme which will include quarterly in-person events, regular webinars and Roundtables.

We will kick off with three webinars this quarter:

• 18th February 9.30am - Digital sustainability: Cutting Carbon Emissions Through Conscious Tech Practices - WholeGrain Digital. Register for tickets here

How will your business benefit?

Amplifi is a collective with a goal to build a community for businesses motivated to take action for change. We do this by creating welcoming spaces to share ideas, take risks and work together on issues that are bigger than just ourselves and business as usual. The webinars will form the foundation of this movement for SMEs situated in and around Tunbridge Wells aiming to provide practical guidance to boost climate-friendly practices within your business.

Our series of events aim to spark ideas and facilitate collaborative solutions. By building a shared understanding of our collective responsibility and accountability we can start to explore truly sustainable solutions that meet the needs of individuals, businesses and the wider community.

What can I do to prepare?

We know that solving sustainability within business requires a number of different approaches. Tailored education, baselining, monitoring and measurement but most importantly collaboration.

So, get those creative juices flowing – share your dilemmas, ideas, and practices that have worked for you with others, starting from today! Amplifi will provide the framework for you to scale up solutions and take ideas to the next level. We’re excited to see how our partnership for business and community transformation puts Tunbridge Wells on the map this year!
